This April, Tereza Maxová Foundation became one of the guarantors of support of a successful project "Reading helps". Its aim is not only to motivate children and young people to read, but it also helps a good cause.

The Project Adopce.com celebrates its tenth birthday and the Foundation has received the opportunity to promote the project through the citylight campaign within the JCDecaux network in Prague. The campaign was a pro-bono activity agency McCann Erickson Prague.
ICON Communication Centres to support our Foundation

It is our pleasure to announce that ICON Communication Centres will support the activities of our Foundation, especially "Under the Wings" project which is dedicated to 7 children homes in Czech Republic and the aims of the project is to teach children the English language.
An international circus festival in Monaco played host to a guest from the Czech Republic

Thanks to the foundation’s patron, Tereza Maxová, Julie Berkyová from the children’s home in Ústí nad Labem, was able to visit the well-known circus festival in Monaco and be a member of the international children’s jury. For six years this children’s home has been participating in a therapeutic and educational project entitled “Under the Wings” that teaches children English. So Julie had the chance to put what she has learnt into practice.

HOPI and Eastern Resources Group s.r.o. have supported eight children homes. Thanks to them the foundation has received an offer to support selected children’s homes with various products that have been donated by Eastern Resources Group s.r.o. Free direct transport to children’s home has been provided by HOPI.

Initiative and McCANN-ERICKSON have provided significant support for a charity campaign, the aim of which is to promote the 10th anniversary of a substitute family care project – Adopce.com. The campaign has also been supported by SEZNAM.CZ, JC Decaux, and others.

Exhibition "Three Women in Africa"

Unique Exhibiton of three Czech photographers Lenka Klicperová, Jarmila Kovaříková and Líba Taylor took place during the period of 1st of September to 5th of October in Roman-Gothic Rooms at the Old Town Hall in Prague. The theme of the exhibition was "Three Women in Africa".

The national football team, specifically Petr Čech, Jaroslav Plašil and Tomáš Necid, gave support to the idea of helping abandoned children. Together with the Foundation’s patroness Mrs. Tereza Maxová they were photographed in a series of photos for promotion of the TERIBEAR project. The photographs were created by the respected photographer Jakub Ludvík.
Fairs for skillful hands for already the seventh time at the Prague ZOO

Already the seventh year of the "Fairs for skillful hands" took place on Saturday, September 25 at the Prague ZOO. Children from 25 children’s homes all over the Czech Republic participated this year in the project -- which is organized by the Tereza Maxová Foundation and Spolu dětem o.p.s. -- and they offered imaginative, original and high-quality hand-made products.

September 23, 2010 Also this year the exclusive “TOGETHER FOR CHILDREN” charitable event, which took place on September 23 in the Wannieck Gallery, supported the mission of the foundation, the goal of which is to make a healthy and safe life in a family environment possible for every child. During the charitable fashion show’s varied program, the Spring-Summer 2011 collection of the courtier OSMANY LAFFITA -- who decided together with a number of other well-known persons to support the idea of helping children in the South Moravian Region via the Tereza Maxová For Children Foundation’s activities -- was presented. Thanks to this social event, the account of the Foundation’s fund for the South Moravian Region increased by 710,000 CZK, which will be distributed among the applicants from this region via open grant proceedings. This method will be used mainly to preserve maximum openness and transparency and to ensure the same initial conditions for the applicants. The Fund’s activities are focused on the support of specific projects in three areas: prevention of the undesirable taking away of children from the family environment, support of foster parenting and compensation of the problems of institutional upbringing. This last area is closely connected to the support of children growing up in infant care institutions and children’s homes. The children and their needs are always at the center of the Foundation’s activities. The event was attended by the top-model, patroness and founder of the Foundation TEREZA MAXOVÁ, the well-known composer and musician DAVID KOLLER, who performed accompanied by the Kollerband, as well as by talented children from children’s homes. The collection of the courtier Osmany Laffita was presented -- and the runway was lit up -- by, in addition to Tereza Maxová, also the following models - Kateřina Průšová, Diana Kobzanová, Eliška Bučková and the second most handsome man in the world (Mr. World 2010) Josef Karas . The evening was moderated by TOMÁŠ MATONOHA.
